Things are progressing nicely. There are now 730 student accounts on the system (split over 6 modules) and five academic staff members ready to start setting up assessments – when they get to it !
The system is similar to previous versions in so far as it does some odd things and there are somethings which still need to be done with a direct db hack (e.g. assigning modules to students – there is a system involving editing individual student records but that also resets passwords, which is best avoided and you don’t want to have to assign modules to 730 students after all) but it is running well so far.
There doesn’t seem to be any mechanism for preventing the creation of duplicate student accounts for the same student id either, if a student is on more than one module uploaded onto the system.
